Help & User Guide

Every form on this platform, shown filled in with example data — built from the site's own styling, so it looks like the real thing. Fields marked * are required.

Getting Started

Create an account

/register

Anyone can self-register as a Customer or a Handyman. Staff/admin accounts are created inside the Admin Panel instead (see Roles & Permissions).

Example
  • Name up to 120 characters; email must be valid and not already registered.
  • Password needs at least 8 characters, and the confirmation must match it exactly.
Handyman accounts don't work immediately — status starts as "pending verification." An admin must approve them under Handymen before that person can log in.

Signing In

Example

You land in the Customer, Handyman, or Admin portal automatically based on your account type.

Customer Portal — Booking a Service

Booking a job is a 4-step wizard, starting from a service's page (Home → pick a category → pick a service → "Continue to Address").

Step 1 — Select service

No form to fill — just click Continue to Address on the service you want.

Step 2 — Service address

/book/address
Example

If you've booked before, your saved addresses appear as radio options above "Use a new address."

Step 3 — Date & time

/book/schedule
Example

The date can't be in the past; time slots come from the company's configured schedule (e.g. 08:00–10:00, 10:00–12:00, 13:00–15:00, 15:00–17:00).

Step 4 — Review & confirm

/book/review
Example

/admin/payments

This list shows every payment across all bookings. No form here — just click Mark Paid on a pending payment, or Refund on a paid one. To record a brand-new payment against a booking, use the booking's detail page (see above).

Handyman Portal — Availability

This lives in the top bar of every handyman page — changing it submits immediately, there's no separate Save button.

Example

Handyman Portal — Managing a Job

Each job moves through a fixed sequence — one button per stage, no fields until payment collection.
